Perfume bottles date back to 1500 BC when they beautified the homes of the most affluent and noble.  The Egyptians were the first to introduce perfume into their culture and they were the first to embellish glass bottles as a method of storing this valued commodity.  It wasn't until the Middle Ages that metal and enamel were utilized in the production of storing perfume.  During the 19th century, bottle making arrived in a fury due to the European market and their interest in refining the way perfume was manufactured.

Today these beautiful works of art have no rival. Collecting has become huge. Our perfume bottles have been carefully selected not only for their beauty, but for their functional ability to contain an essence and preserve it's freshness.  The colored, thick glass bottles store perfume nicely because light cannot penetrate and the glass material does not allow foreign odors to penetrate the perfumes lovely bouquet.  The aromatic notes are protected by sealed tops or stoppers.
